# Twenty Minds Decision Engine — Cumulative Web Inc

Twenty Minds runs a hard decision through 20 named adversarial perspectives.
Each mind writes a distinct one-sentence verdict plus exactly one risk; then
the operator synthesizes a decision with the dissent recorded, a confidence
level, and a kill-rule check.

- Manual backend (default, $0): the engine prints each mind's prompt and you
  answer the verdict and risk. You are the minds.
- Optional backends (CLI only): ollama, openai-compat, per-mind routing.
- Distinctness guard: verdict pairs that are identical or ≥0.90
  Jaccard-similar are flagged and must be rewritten — same rule as the CLI.
- Synthesis: the dissent field is MANDATORY. A synthesis without it is
  rejected.
- Report: report.md (human-readable) + report.json (machine-readable,
  schema 1.0.0).

## Web demo

The live demo at https://cumulativewebinc.github.io/cwi-twenty-minds/
runs the real manual-backend protocol in your browser — parity-verified
against the Python CLI (prompt/flags/report.md/report.json identical).

## Run the CLI

Requires Python 3.8+, stdlib only — no network, no API keys required.

## Honest limits

This engine structures reasoning; it does not verify it. Verdicts are only as
good as the minds behind them — in manual mode, that's you. Never present a
report as verified truth. No network calls, no telemetry, stdlib only.
